Miss Intercontinental’s Miss Thailand and Miss Vietnam may have found inspiration in Filipina beauty queen Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.
Social media was abuzz with comments about how Miss Thailand imitated Cat’s slow-mo twirl at last Saturday’s Miss Intercontinental pageant.

Netizens also noticed that the design of Miss Vietnam’s gown looked similar to the Mayon Volcano-inspired red gown that Catriona wore at the Miss Universe pageant.
Some Twitter users posted videos of the two beauty queens’ evening gown comparing the striking similarities.

Miss Vietnam seemed to have also copied the Miss Universe 2018’s signature lava walk and even fixed her hair just like Cat’s side-swept style.

While others bashed Miss Vietnam for copying Cat’s look, some were more forgiving saying that Miss Vietnam was simply inspired by Catriona.
